lululemon summer 2015

Summer 2015’s theme was influenced by court sports for styling details and pop art for colour and pattern inspiration. Large oversized artwork was key, broken down into graphic details and textured artwork , and summertime themes of palms and stripes as easy neutrals were key as supportive artwork.

This oversized and graphic artwork was created using gouache and watercolour, and brought into photoshop  to finalize. All textures were created separately and combined to promote softness in an otherwise graphic artwork.

This floral print was both made small and oversized, in different colour ways to carry the colour palette.

Camouflage has become an easy neutral, an this one was created as a new camo that could carry both the theme and a neutral colour story.

This palm stripe used both digital palm photos and hand painted stripes to create this graphic black and white print.
